What scholars say about Shah Waliullah:

Ibn Taymiyyah & Shah Waliullah

Shibli Numani

"There was no thinker in the entire ummah of Ibn Taymiyya’s calibre until Shah Waliullah came - and Shah Waliullah surpassed him."

Shah Waliullah's Legacy

Ubaidullah Sindhi

"Shah Waliullah's legacy is the harmonisation of reason ['aql], revelation [naql] and intuition [kashf]. It strikes a chord with all three as valid sources of knowledge and irons out all the apparent conflictions and contradictions."

What our students say:

Asif Afsar

A fantastic, student focused teacher, whose lessons are comprehensive and enjoyable .

Bini Mahmood

Maulana Shazad is a great teacher... His knowledge of the book is remarkable. I found the course interesting, challenging and rewarding. Every lesson entailed of uniquely different strategies to tackle the complexities of the book which were both fun and fruitful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to study it!

Sofia Arif

I found the lessons to be extremely valuable. I think sometimes attending courses can lead to neglecting the Spiritual aspect of the religion. Sometimes you may concentrate too much on the academic aspect of religion, which is just as important, but don't implement the spiritual side as much. The lesson allows us to combine the two aspects and create a balanced outlook, upon which we can apply in our day to day lives. It gives us hope and optimism upon that which is to come. It gives a spiritual boost, not just a temporal one . I feel like it has made us look at the bigger picture towards the true purpose of life, bringing us closer to Allah, our Creator, and closer to understanding His religion. With the permission of Allah, I would like to continue studying the book of Shah Waliullah. What amazing Knowledge Allah gifted him! I believe that it is our duty to learn and understand this book to continue on his deserving legacy and due to the trials that are awaiting the next generation Muslims. We must tread upon this path to continue to revive the Qur'an and Sunnah. And last, but not to say the least, I must mention our Honorable teacher Sheikh Shazad. The effort and enthusiasm from him, was and is, greatly appreciated. I was honored to have the opportunity to attend such inspiring lessons. May Allah reward our teacher abundantly for his efforts and zeal towards such unique works, an inspiration for us all.
